Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Daniel Lennon Smith was a happy, healthy 9 year old boy who loved life, his family and friends and had everything to live for.  He was bright, polite, athletic, cheeky and one of nicest children you could ever meet.  On the 5th of July 2010 Daniel was hit by a bus outside his house while playing with his neighbours.  He was taken to Alder Hey childrens hospital where for 4 long days they did everthing they could to try and save his life but dispite this Daniel left us early in the morning of the 10th of July 2010.

The whole time he was in hospital the Alder Hey staff were friendly, helpful, confident and so, so hard working.  They treated Daniel carefully and gently even though he was never concious throughout his stay.  They accommodated his family completely and did everything they could to make the horrible situation as comfortable as possible.

This page has been set up to say thank you to all those who work constantly to improve and save childrens lives at this amazing hospital.
