I have set up this page to raise money for the Welcome trust Childrens Clinical Reasearch Facility Manchester Childrens Hospital, This a charity is very close to my heart.  My son was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome at the age of 2 yrs, Nephrotic Syndrome is where your kidneys, in my sons case kidney!! leeks protien and deposits around the body causing it to swell, he has tried many medicines which dont seem to be helping and is suffering many relapses, he is constantly on steriods which helps the swelling to go down, but there are many side affects to this,  he has a constant battle with being well, he also has heart problems and has already undergone 2 open heart operations one at 5 days old and one when he was 3 yrs. Along with my best friend Hannah Higgins we are running the Congleton Half Marathon to raise as much as we can to help find a cure for my son and other children like him.
