We have decided to embark upon a challenge of a life time in memory of our amazing Dad. We intend to take part in an 11 day trek to summit Mount Kilimanjaro. This will be the hardest challenge either of us have ever faced. We felt this was rather fitting considering our Dad showed such courage, bravery and determination during his own fight against cancer and we are both so immensely proud of him for that! Dad was a fun loving outgoing person and enjoyed taking part in extreme sports himself. Rachel had spoken to him about doing a summit climb after her trip to Africa and his response was 'go for it then!'  SO.....WE ARE! We would really like to make it worthwhile by raising as much as we possibly can. We will be organising several different fundraising events between now and August 2014. So watch this space!

Macmillan cancer support were a great help to our family during Dads treatment. Without this our family would have found the situation a lot harder to cope with. We would love to raise as much money as we can for this amazing charity so that other families can receive the support that we were given.
