On 13th April 2008 I will be attempting to run the London Marathon!  For those of you who don't know, that is 26.2 miles, or 42 kms! either way you look at it - it's  a long way!! 

I will be running in memory of Adina Harper who tragically lost her life very suddenly, aged only 14, to Meningitis. Some of you will have known Adina and know what a fantastic, full of fun girl she was; all of you know someone who could be struck by meningitis. Her death has profoundly affected her family and friends and left all who knew her with a deep sense of loss.

I have chosen to run for The Meningitis Trust in the hope that I can raise funds to help families affected by Meningitis, increase awareness of the disease and aid research into vaccines and treatments.

Obviously I will be putting in a lot of work between now and then - training come rain wind or snow - all I want you to do is sponsor my efforts and help me reach my goal of raising £1500.
