Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am going to climb to the summit of Kilimanjiro (which is 19,330 ft above sea level) in February to raise money for a really amazing charity-The Princess Alice Hospice. Please remember that you aren't just sponsoring the climb-you are sponsoring me to get off my backside and train until then (which bearing in mind how lazy I am is a pretty big deal-currently at the gym 5 times a week)!
I am supporting the Hospice as they took amazing care of my father (and my family) during the last 10 days of his life. They have also supported the family since then. They receive a small NHS contribution but are rely strongly on donations and fundraising and they make no charge for their services!
I will be paying all my costs myself, so I can guarantee you that 100% of the money you donate will be going to the Hospice-and don't forget, if you are a UK taxpayer you can maximise your donation by selecting the Gift Aid option on your donation at no extra cost or work involved for you-so every £1 you donate will be worth £1.28!
