Six years ago Simon's youngest brother Julian sadly took his own life after battling with mental health or the demons as we called them, for many years. Since that time Simon and I have been raising money for the mental health charity MIND. This charity provides support for anyone who is affected by mental health and hopefully our efforts may help the charity to provide that support and so prevent someone having the same experience that we did.
Having completed two marathons I am now setting my next target which is to climb Kilimanjaro in February 2010. I am going to complete the trek with two girlfriends Jeannie Berridge-Dunn and Alison Smith. The trek will take nine days in total and I predict a lot of tears and laughter along the way.
