Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online.

In August I will be visiting Kenya as part of a group aiming to make a real difference to the lives of children attending Magunga Primary school in the Katito province. This school was damaged by a freak cyclone last year and urgently needs work done to it. The group will be doing some painting in the school as well as working with the children and adults of the community. We will be doing things including arts, crafts, drama, sports as well as environmental and non-violence education.

For more information about the area visit: http://www.footsteps.co.ke/distance_adoption/index.htm and http://www.relaynet.org.uk/

I am travelling through a charity called Footsteps and a charity it is closely linked to, relayNET. I need to raise as much money as possible to pay for everything needed for the trip from getting the team there, right through to the materials needed in the school.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: relayNET will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
