12th JULY  WE DID IT.   The training paid off!!  A truly inspring and emotional event running for such a great charity, with very great friends. Passing by the stunning sights of London on a beautiful day (not too hot).  Seeing thousands of people all running for charities and their own special reasons  so put my faith back in human nature.  We thank   all of those who have sponsored us it means so much for us to give support to the Elizabeth Foundation that has been so invaluable to Rosannah.  Rosannah will have her implants switched on Monday 20th July so we look forward to hours of chat and teach her to become a little chatterbox  over the summer holidays.  HAPPY SUMMER TO YOU ALL LOVE KEVIN AND TOR AND THE ELIZABETH FOUNDATION TEAM.

 

 

 

On Sunday 12th July wei will be participating in the 2009 ASICS BRITISH 10K LONDON RUN!   We are not super fit so training is in progress to prepare for the event.

The drive and motivation is to raise money for the ELIZABETH FOUNDATION.  A wonderful charity that supports severe to profoundly deaf children to speak.  The Elizabeth Foundatio. n has been our haven since Rosannah was diagnosed profoundly deaf at six weeks old.  Rosannah has had a wonderful grounding in communication skills through weekly lessons and access to the home learning and support programme.

Nowadays deaf children have access to amazing hearing aids and cochlear implants, they often do not get the support needed to develop age appropriate listening and spoken language.  We are passionate that the WONDERFUL work the Elizabeth Foundation  is doing can continue.  Please dig deep and sponsor us on line.
