James Reilly, Sarah Houghton, my friend Tracey Shepherd and I successfully completed the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride on Sunday 12th July. It was great fun although we are all aching today and just a little bit sunburnt. We are raising funds for BASIC (Brain and Spinal Injury Centre). BASIC is a specialist resource for people and their families in crisis following a traumatic brain injury or neurological diagnosis.
The bike ride was over 62 miles, and it took us approximately 6 and half hours! (The last ten miles were in a head wind and this slowed us down, that's our excuse anyway) so please give generously!
