Story

Let's face it, talking about bowels is not exactly a comfortable topic of conversation. Perhaps you are cringing reading this now, but last year, when I found out that my cousin had bowel cancer, I had to talk about it.

Garry is a year older than me, very athletic and has always eaten a healthy diet so it was a real shock and made me realise that cancer can strike anyone at anytime, even people like myself and my friends who are young and healthy.

Luckily, because Garry was diagnosed in time he had an operation to remove the tumour and is now back to work and playing sports.

Bowel cancer will affect 1 in 18 of us in our lifetime so my message to you is: don't be embarrassed to talk about your bottom or other people's bottoms!

This is why I am shaking my ass, running this run and helping Beating Bowel Cancer raise awareness of the symptoms of bowel cancer and by sponsoring me you will be helping them too.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Beating Bowel Cancer will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.
