On Sunday April 27th 2008 I will be taking part in a Driving Challenge to raise money for The Fire Fighters Charity (formerly the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund). As the daughter of a retired fire fighter, I know some of the stresses and strains such a dangerous job can place on the family and the support the FSNBF offers. The Driving Challenge is an opportunity to raise funds by taking part in several tests of skill and handling, including a 4x4 off-road course. Never one to shirk a challenge, I shall be throwing myself wholeheartedly down hills, and most likely into a ditch :D So please sponsor me for this hugely worthwhile cause and I'll let you know how many bruises I end up with!
