Why Sponsor Great Britain Deaf Swimming?
Great Britain Deaf Swimming are self-funded and do not receive any help or support from the Amateur Swimming Association or the Government. The Government at present will not recognise the Great Britain Deaf Swimming as a body. The ASA do recognise Great Britain Deaf Swimming (who are affiliated to the South East ASA Region), but they do not give any financial support. Therefore, we rely on charitable donations/sponsorships and kind donations from outside support.
All coaches, managers, physiotherapists and committee members who work with Great Britain Deaf Swimming are volunteers, and to date, no one has been paid for their hard work.
Donations through this site are simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor Great Britain Deaf Swimming: We will receive your money faster and if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
