this is the Donations page for the challenge I've set myself

this is a race, between my 1965 Hillman Imp - Odie - and a transpenine express train, from Manchester Piccadilly Station to Glasgow Central Station!

Basically Vicki, my girlfriend, and two of her friends are booked to get the 9:16am train from Manchester Piccadilly to Glasgow Central Stations on 21st December to go to a panto, I'm going to drop her off at the station, and race her to Glasgow station in Odie. The train is a straight through, they haven't got to make any changes.

Her train takes 3 hrs 13mins. My road route takes 3 hrs 18mins!!
