University of Brighton - Brighton Cycle for Southern Africa · 18 September 2011 ·

Donations made to the University of Brighton support a number of areas, including: providing scholarships for our most talented students; providing assistance to students undergoing financial hardship; funding research and community engagement activities; and increasing the student experience.

Story

Thanks for visiting my Just Giving page.

On September 18th I will be taking part in a 40 mile bicycle ride, from Brighton to Hastings, in support of the The Southern African Scholarship Fund; established by the University of Brighton Students’ Union in 1987/88.  The SASF enables talented, passionate students from South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, Botswana, Zambia, Mozambique or Angola to attend the University of Brighton.

By giving today you help the development of South Africa and its neighbouring countries by funding trainee teachers, engineers, doctors and nurses, all of whom directly benefit the wider community when they return home to Southern Africa.

And donating through JustGiving is totally secure, your details will never be sold on to third parties, and Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer!

Thank you! Obrigado! Asante! Tangi! Eio! Okuhepa! Zikomo! Dankie! Ndatenda! Merci!
