Day 1 starting, a bit anxious as haven't swum for a while!

At Virya Technologies we encourage our staff to get involved in charity projects, and also to lead healthy lifestyles.  Here is my attempt at leading by example!

I'm pledging to swim 22 miles over 12 weeks, starting 12th September 2011.  Last year I managed 1/4 of the challenge but became ill and had to pull out - this year I am going to complete it!  If anyone would like to join me I will be swimming in the mornings at Crown Pools.  I have a target of £500 to raise as an individual, we'll also set a team target for Virya Technologies as a whole.
