I will take part in a charity run on 28th october in Cambridge. This activity is aimed to raise fund to support children in rural China to go to school.
As you may heared, in remote area of China, children receive very poor quality education. The so-called school is mainly a small room with a dirty blackboard and dozens of old desks and chairs. Normally, schools are not able to hire proper teachers, a person with high school diploma will be good enough for them. And even for this education, most children have to walk miles of way to go to school, bare foot!!!
I hope with our strength, we can change this situation little by little. What we are doing is big and is also tiny, our donation may not be much from us, but it means the world to those chilren who desperately need help in China. We all used to be children before, we know how education matters. Please come with me, give those poor Chinese children an opportunity to receive proper education and change their lives. You never know what you can do, but believe me, there are lives which will be touched by your generous giving, they wil feel so blessed, and it is all because of you.

这次捐助是帮助那群在中国偏远地区不能和我们一样接受正规教育的孩子的．我们都曾有过幸福的童年，都曾坐在宽敞明亮的教室里学习，在我们的意识形态里，接受教育是多么平常普遍的事情，就像吃饭喝水．可是那些身在偏远山区的孩子却不能，我们的生活，他们连想都没想过．能读书，对他们来说是何等珍贵的事．即使是破烂的土房，即使老师只是高中文化水平，他们也能走上十里路，为的就是能上学．世界就是这样的不公平，我们有何德何能可以理所应当得享受这么优质的教育，他们又凭什么要被剥夺获取知识了解世界的的权利．也许象这种性质的慈善活动已经是老生常谈，但是这样的活动才是真正能引起广泛意义，真正能改变他们生活的活动．授之以鱼不如授之以渔，给他们学习的机会,让他们用自己的双手改变贫困的命运．
