Story
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
As you may know my Mum, Barbara, passed away on14th May 2008 after a very brave battle with Breast Cancer. Mum was so very fortunate to be able to spend her last few weeks at a wonderful hospice called Nightingale House in Wrexham, North Wales. The care she received in her final weeks was exceptional - The Nurses even pushed Mum's bed out onto the patio outside her room for a spot of sun in the warm May weather!!
Nightingale House Hospice requires £2.2 million to keep providing this exceptional care in the North Wales region. 82% of this has to be found through donations and fund raising events.
On 28th June I will be walking 10 miles through the night around the Wrexham area to raise as much money as possible for Nightingale House hospice. I hope that you will be able to sponsor me - however small, to help continue this amazing service for other families who find themselves in a similar unfortunate circumstances.
