Story

My niece, Samantha Lake, was only 19 when she and two other students where tragically killed in a bus accident in South Africa in June 2010.  Samantha was part of a group of students from Brooksby College in Melton, Leicestershire on a Foundation Degree in Animal Management.  For people who didn’t know Samantha she was the most lovely, amazing, kind person you could ever wish to meet and she will be missed so much.

I,ve always wanted to attempt a Triathlon but never been fit or motivated enough…..until now!  When I saw that the Triathlon would be in June, I knew that this was the time to do it!

I,ve started my training with weights to improve strength and stamina but I have so much more to do – including my first outdoor swim!  Need all the support you can give me guys!!!

So all I can ask if you can dig deep or give whatever you can.  Keep checking our my page for updates.

In Samantha’s own words – GO FOR IT!
