Rs components Nuneaton donate a whopping £1500 to the vk legends charity event! What an amazing start to our fundraising! Massive thanks for all the team:)

Hi well its that time again (YUP) :0)

This year the event will be named VK LEGENDS PART DEUX(this time its personal) love it.

We have a monumental target this year of £30,000 +

This is more than acheivable with all the fantastic volunteers we have.

This main fun day day will be held on Sunday 6th May 2012 10am-late @ Nuneaton Old Edwardians,Weddington road,Nuneaton,CV10 0AL. www.noerfc.co.uk

We have main event on the sunday(6th May) like last year VKLEGENDS v OLD EDS VETS,4/5 other rugby games with all ages included. Football(weddington thistle),squash,cricket,inter school cross country relay,zumbathon(how fantastic they were last year,massive thanks from all of us),biggest slide in the midlands,huge raffle,fairground rides,bbq,bar,loads of stalls,face painting,cake stall,disco, 30+ kids games and so much more. We have a amazing effort from a group in Nuneaton, Dan Elkerton,Mick Belford,Tom Elkerton,Darrell Belford,Ashly Meason,Marc Heggie,Alan Elkerton.Jay Guest & Luke Creaney who are doing the three peak challenge on the 28th April,ben nevis,scafell pike & snowdon. Good Luck lads( may the force be with you). Kieran Miller of KP security is getting sponsored to have a VKLEGENDS logo tattoo on his arm. superb effort cheers Kieran and ouch!

We also have Caroline Jones fundraising for VK LEGENDS through her company (Weddington mobile foot health clinic) donating £5 from any new clients that use her, find her on facebook.. We also have Linda Palmer doing a sponsored slim aiming to lose two stone from march-may 5th (good luck). On the saturday 5th May (the vk legends birthday by the way) we will be doing sponsored parachute jumps(David Granger,Stephen Mason,Nadine Burnip,Mat Gardner,paul Hutchings,Nick Lyons,Elizabeth Lyons,Nigel Lyons, Ben Thompson & Martin Thompson. Bungee jumps by Stef Grundy, Charlotte Brines,Stuart Neail. golf tournament @ Purley chase golf club ( TNT select versus VK LEGENDS, (managed by Laura & Michael Palmer ),bowls, 24 hour sponsored swim at bedworth swimming baths(Jo hopkins),a black tie dinner @ old eds on the evening with amazing entertainment.Bucks fizz on arrival,guest speaker tbc,comedian tbc, Laura Palmer singing, Charity auction, 5 course meal and disco.

Cancer Research UK is an amazing charity, please give what you can afford, we can save lives if we try.

Personally know how it feels to have cancer, on two occasions. Also i know how it feels to have lost my father who was everything to me. its hard very hard to swallow when you see how cruel and sick this disease is. But we can make a difference for our children then there children.
