BHF - London to Brighton Bike Ride 2012 · 17 June 2012 ·

Far too many of us have felt the pain of losing someone we love. With your donations, we power groundbreaking cardiovascular research to save and improve lives, bring hope to families, and keep hearts beating across the UK.

Story

Recently I decided that I would try and get back into cycling after a long time away. I got a bike on the cycle to work scheme but quickly found that it wasn't really suited for the hilly roads surrounding Brighton.

I decided to invest in a road bike and at the same time enrol in the London to Brighton in June to get some motivation.

So far it's going great, I have been out on long rides every week and I'm really enjoying it.

It's nice to do something for a good cause. Everybody knows someone who has had issues with heart problems and my family had a wake up call earlier this year when someone had a heart attack.

The BHF do amazing work here in the UK and always need more support so if you can spare some cash, even just a couple of pounds then that would be amazing.

Thanks for your support.
