Update 28/8/08

Everest Round 2 is booked!  Paul & I leave on the 7th November for 13 days of blood, sweat & tears culminating at Everest Base Camp.

Training is well under way again & all being well i'll make it this time.

Update 24/4/07

I'm afraid many of you will know that I am not currently in Nepal as planned.  Mum passed away on the 3rd of April after an amazingly brave battle against Breast Cancer & I wasn't able to make the 20th of April departure. 

I shall undoubtedly get to Base Camp though & am just waiting to see when the next trip is that I can sign up for.

Thank you to everyone for your support especially over the last few weeks.

Update 5/3/07

Just wanted to add to this page after the success of the Fundraising Ball on Friday.

As you can see the amazing amount of £1475 was raised through ticket & raffle sales bringing the cumulative total to more than I ever could have anticipated!

The fundraising & training process, if i'm honest has been much harder than I could have imagined trying to fit everything in to an already busy life, yet the rewards speak for themselves.

Thank you to each & everyone who has donated their time and money to help me on this quest so far.
