Creative Youth is a charity that enables young people aged 5–30 to realise their potential through the arts, involving them in innovative, original and ambitious projects. Creative Youth are guardians of FUSEBOX, a new multi-arts and heritage space on Kingston’s riverside.

Story

I am one of 20(ish) Cyclists of a huge range of mixed abilities (including some who don't yet own bikes!) who will be cycling 120 miles in one day to raise much needed funds for the charity Creative Youth and the International Youth Arts Festival.

We anticipate the ride will take between 10 and 15 hours depending on the ability of the cyclist.

This is a big challenge for all the cyclists, and an absolutely gargantuan one for most (I fit in the latter category)...

We are all doing this to raise funds for Creative Youth who utilise the arts to build the confidence, skills and aspirations of young people.  Creative Youth has engaged with 21,000 young people since it's inception in 2009, including some of the most vulnerable in society, and to continue to do this work at a time of real difficulty fundraising we have decided to try and help do our bit to continue the work of this fantastic charity.

Please donate whatever you feel you can - each pound and penny will spur us on that extra mile and push us up that one last hill (which is a stupid ridiculous hill I'm not looking forwards to at the end of 120 miles...)!

We welcome more cyclists into our group and please do get in contact if you with to join in.

We have a team justgiving page at https://www.justgiving.com/teams/voyagedefromage if you would like to see how our group fundraising is going.
