My personal message:

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and I hope you will consider sponsoring me online.

As many of you know, I have undertaken to take part in a Himalyan trek  this August . We shall be climbing up to 4,000 metres and trekking from between 5-12 hours a day.  This is a huge challenge for me as I make a fuss about climbing hills, let alone mountains!  But it is a hugely worthwhile cause and will be a fantastic experience as we shall be trekking through really remote regions in the Ladakh region of India, known as 'Little Tibet.'  We shall be spending the night in tents and experiencing both freezing cold weather and sweltering temperatures. Can't wait!!

 I am paying in full for the cost of the trip so all money raised on this page will go to fighting poverty all over the world by helping communities help themselves. We shall visit a VSO project which is making a difference to disabled children living in the slums of Delhi.
