Story

We will be taking part in the 3 Peaks challenge over the course of 3 days (27-29 June 2015) raising funds for Vyners School to purchase 50 new Chromebooks to use during lessons.  We will also be donating 25% of raised funds to Asthma UK, a charity chosen by the pupils as we have lost 2 former pupils to Asthma.  As many as 3 people die daily in the UK from it and approximately 90% of asthma deaths are actually preventable.

The aim is to climb the highest mountains in Scotland (Ben Nevis), England (Scaffell Pike) and Wales (Snowdown).  It is probably going to be one of the hardest things any of us have ever done, but we are definitely up for the challenge (we think!!!!).

Such is our enthusiasm for this challenge we have even managed to convince some of our families to take part - even more reason to donate!!!!

The school has set a target of £20,000, which is roughly £150 per person and we would be so proud if we could reach that amount (possibly exceeding it).  Donating is  simple, literally a push of a button and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Follow the challenge on Twitter @vyners3peaks - for more information visit https://www.jusgiving.com/vyners.

On behalf of Kirstie and Max F, James D, Jack H, James H and Thomas C, along with their foolish parents and younger sister, Shellie D, Sonia and Graham F,  Louise H and Jill, Mark and Katie C we thank you for for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
