For those that know me, you know there isnt a time im not injured, and there probably isn't a time you havent heard either...
So I'm running for Al-Hassan Foundation, a charity that is working hard to change the lives of thousands of people in Southern Iraq, by providing opthalmic equipment and training surgeons in the country to use this equipment properly. Particularly in a war-torn country such as Iraq your help is needed because much of this can be avoided if the financial backing was there as illustrated by a chilling statistic courtesy of the World Health Organisation:
'Up to 75 percent of all blindness in adults and 50 percent of childhood blindness is avoidable through prevention or treatment'
So your help really is needed to help these people, and i would appreciate if you can help me raise the money that would go towards to such a good cause.
I'm aiming for under 45 minutes, and for a person with a pretty bad ankle history it'll be fairly agonising (you'll never hear the end of it), but completely worth it...
