Hope House and Ty Gobaith gives every local child with a life-threatening condition and their family access to professional care and improves their quality of life from the point of diagnosis.

Story

Located in the Brecon Beacons National Park, ThunderWalk offers some amazing scenery whilst at the same providing the team with an exhilarating mental and physical challenge.

Crossing the highest peaks in the Brecon Beacons and South Wales – Pen y Fan (886m), Corn Du (873m), Cribyn (795m) and Fan y Big (719m) ThunderWalk will be as breath taking, as it is challenging.

This endurance challenge will see our team of four tackle 54 miles of some of the best walking trails the UK has to offer – the challenge being to complete the route within 24 hours.

Yes 24hrs.

The reason for this madness is to give us a focus to raise well deserved funds for Hope House.

Hope House Children’s Hospices provide care and support to life limited children, young people and their families. It costs around 4 million to maintain their hospice services, most of which has to be raised through voluntary fundraising.
