My story
It is in memory of our dear friend, and inspirational colleague Lynnette Douglas.
We wanted a way to keep our thoughts and memories alive about Lynnette and we felt with the walk we could chat and share our memories of her as we stroll along on a summer’s day.For those of you that didn’t know Lynnette she loved animals dearly, so we are doing the “Walk of Friendship” in aid of the RSPCA, dedicated to Lynnette’s fund. We would like as much sponsorship as possible, so please girls, purses out and any donations please speak to your Area Manager and she will organize this for you.
It is very hard to be positive when tragedy hits you but we feel that walking and chatting about Lyn will keep her memory and spirit alive with us. She would also laugh as we plan to do it in true Coast style wearing our favorite bandeau dresses…heels optional. We are aware it’s not the most ambitious walk but based on the retail operations team exercise regimen it was felt we could all achieve it.Please wish us luck and dig deep to help us raise an amazing sum that can be dedicated to the RSPCA.
