Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As part of the 100 Days project, I'm doing a walk* for at least an hour a day from 1st December until 10th March 2010.

I've already started walking, but now you can join me in spirit, and earn some money for the charity that cared for my father-in-law, Karen & Julie's "Pop", Irene's beloved husband, Roy Stead who passed away earlier this year.

It's not even a major demand on your pocket, as there are two schemes you can choose from:

1) The Long March: sponsor me a penny a mile !
This option is the cheapest, and on current form would cost you no more than £4, as I average just under 3 miles an hour, and will not regularly exceed an hour's walking. You can pledge multiple pennies of course ;-)

2) Time Marches On: Pledge now !
Why wait? You know it'll be around 500 miles, so that's only a fiver minimum !

You can follow my travels at my Live Journal here  which includes photos and links to maps of where I have been.

(*while I may do other walks on some days, these won't be added to the total unless they are part of a constant journey - any stops I make will be after the first hour only, and won't generally be more than 10 mins. Oh if you are really generous, why not sponsor me per minute walked? I'm likely to average about 90 mins per day.)

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
