Beat is the UK’s eating disorder charity. Our mission is to end the pain and suffering caused by eating disorders. These serious mental illnesses ruin and, too often, take lives. Our Helpline is available online or by phone for anyone suffering, as well as their family and friends.

Story

Thanks for visiting our fundraising page. Although it states that it is for February 09 it is actually still open and we'll be walking every last Saturday of the month from February to October so there's still plenty of time to join us.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: beat gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Connie, Ann-Marie and Fiona walked the Pilgrims Way in 2008. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we have decided to walk again. This time we're walking the Cotswold Way in our local neighbourhood and are being joined by members of the Cirencester BEAT support group. Please sponsor us now, or even better, come and join us on the walk

You can walk the whole thing, or just a few miles. Come and have fun, enjoy the beauty of the Cotswolds and raise money for beat.

To see what we're up to, learn how you can join in, or just look at the photos and be thankful that it's not YOUR feet doing the walking have a look at our website www.walk4beat.co.uk . If you're on Facebook you can join us at Walkforbeat Twothousandandnine
