Story
Walk for Iraq is a global movement whose mission is to organise sponsored walks that generate funds for life-saving work throughout Iraq. It also raises awareness of the current crisis in Iraq as well as supporting the millions displaced internally as well as around the world.
Walk for Iraq UK 2009 will take place between Folkestone and Deal on SATURDAY 23rd MAY 2009. The walk will cover a distance of 24 kilometres from which the participant will emerge enriched by history and picturesque scenery. All funds raised from this event will go to the Iraqi Orphan Foundation.
