Taking part in the walk will be Franchisee, Kalpesh Patel, and the Business Managers of the seven stores belonging to Lingfield Ltd in South West London. Olu (Supervisor), Dave (Putney), Carlo (Wimbledon), Arnold (Tooting), Alex (Clapham Junction), Tim (Clapham Common), Badam (Wandsworth Southside) & Neilo (Wandsworth Road.)

Leaving Clapham Common at 9am, we expect to walk approximately 8 miles visiting as many of the McDonalds on the way as possible, and finishing at the Ronald McDonald House in Tooting.

The House at St George's Hospital Tooting provides 'home away from home' accommodation for parents with seriously ill children in hospital. Similar Houses and Family Room complexes are located close to hospitals or hospices in order to ensure families are kept together at a difficult time and aim to provide accommodation where and when it is most needed. Families don't pre-book as they never know when they will be required. They may stay for a few days, or for many months. Sometimes the child does not recover.

To stay open the House needs £70,000 every year.
