I am doing this for the reasons below, this wonderful young man stole my heart.

I came across a young man on twitter last year, someone who made me laugh, so engaging, he brightened my day with his cheery upbeat, have a #wowserwednesday style tweets. His positivity just shone out. There was just something about him that always put a smile on my face, I actually called him my twitter crush, not that I would have said that to him, no way would I have wanted to embarrass him.

His name Harry, 11 years old and raising money for brain tumour awareness, selling bracelets that he made, I was compelled to buy some. Aside from his infectiously bubbly nature, the special thing about this kid was he had been diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumour himself and he wanted to help others. With much help from his family he started a campaign http://www.helpharryhelpothers.com/ and did some serious kick arse fund raising, also doing talks to schools and corporate business's to raise awareness about brain tumours. I remember one day last year he was going up to the North East on the train to do a talk to a school, I joked with him, saying give me a wave on your way past Selby Harry, he replied I won't wave I will blow you a kiss and laugh at the suits on the train wondering what I'm doing. That to me sums up Harry.

After an operation and a long spell in Birmingham Hospital Harry remained in a coma, he went home with his family and died peacefully in his mum's arms. This remarkable young man was lost to us.

Somehow though he is not lost to us, his smiley face, humour and personality carries on in our hearts and minds, the need to carry on what he started has been passed on to many people, it is so heartening to see how many people felt about him, he touched all those he came in to contact with.

So for you H, some of your #twitfam, as you called us, and many others are doing a Walkathon in Birmingham on the 13th of May.
