Join us in raising £30k for the National Literacy Trust
Helping to change lives through literacy

*** News Update ***

* Fiona and Jo held a book fair at Barclays Bank and sold over £3,000 worth of books. Barclays have very kindly matched our fundraising giving us a grand total for the day of £7,310. Amazing!

* A sale of old IT equipment has raised a very impressive £2,300 – thanks IT!

* Congratulations to Annalie and David who both ran a half marathon for the NLT and raised £825 between them!

* A Summer Reading Book Sale with books kindly donated by Faber, Canongate, and Short Books has added another £400. Happy reading everyone!

* Walker Books Summer Fete organised by the Green Team has raised over £400!

* The Where's Wally? Dash was a resounding success! 25 Wallys (plus 2 dogs!) took part in the 5km dash round . First Wally across the finishing line was Sean with an amazing time of 23 minutes, closely followed by Andrew Watson, Fiona, Sylvie, Philippa (plus Merlin the dog), and Kate Beal. 

The other Wally dashers who took part were Jane H, Jane W, Helen T, Ellen, Nic, Ruth (and her son Dominic), Elise, Hanna, Annalie (and her mum), Emily, Maya, Dee Costello, Jo (plus Puggy the dog), Caz,  Maya, plus Petra from Classic Media.  

The event has raised over £5,000 for the National Literacy Trust. THANK YOU EVERYONE!

* A very succesful World Book Day Bookfair held at Walker Books raised £310.50 – our first 1%!
