It’s Ian's 60th Birthday!
Following the the very successful Walk for Alfie event in 2011, which was built on by Hannah and Rod for their wedding in 2012, Ian would really appreciate it if, instead of a more traditional birthday present, donations could be made to the Tiny Babies Big Appeal instead . Here is his message...
"The Tiny Babies Big Appeal is something that is very close to my heart. Sadly just over three years ago I lost my grandson Alfie after just 57 days. His mum and dad Josie and Johnny have since established a fund in his name with all proceeds going towards the Tiny Babies Big Appeal which is fundraising to help sustain and promote a new neonatal unit at Birmingham's Womens Hospital. I am extremely grateful that you have chosen to donate to this charity, as are the rest of my family. Thank you for your generosity & I look forward to seeing you on the 4th May for my birthday party!"

As a continuation of the the very sucessful Walk for Alfie event last year, Hannah and Rod have very kindly decided that any donations should go to the Tiny Babies Big Appeal. Here is their message...

On the 9th and 10th July, we are hoping to undertake a walk in memory of Alfie. We would like to walk one mile for every day of Alfie’s life - so that is 57 miles for 57 days. We are aiming to do this walk in just 24 hours!
