What is Walk For Freedom

Walk For Freedom is a fundraising initiative of Hope City Enterprise and the City Hearts project, it is comprised of a 4 mile sponsored walk that anyone can sign up and participate in.

Our goals

Our goal is to raise as much funds as we can to support survivors of human trafficking and to raise awareness of the support offered to exploited men and women who have been rescued from modern day slavery.

How to register

You can register as an individual or as a team. If you register as a team you can choose to walk ‘Three Legged’ to represent the chains of slavery that still exists in the world today, this will be challenging, symbolic and fun!

You can also ask friends and family to sponsor your walk by registering and downloading the sponsorship form.

The walk for Freedom spans a four mile stretch of the Liverpool coastline, walking past historical landmarks of the slave trade from years ago when William Wilberforce fought for the freedom of slaves.

All the money goes directly to the day to day care of victims of human a trafficking in Merseyside and across the North of England.
