Climb is the National Information and Advice Centre for Metabolic Diseases and is the only charity in the UK to provide advice, information and support to children, young adults, families and professionals affected by metabolic diseases. Climb also funds research into these devastating diseases.

Personal message:

I was inspired to support Climb after a chance meeting with a teenager in the final stages of a devastating metabolic disease, which led to severe disability and a premature death.  This encounter had a profound effect on me and because of this I have no hesitation in supporting Climb and the superb services they provide to families.  I will be raising funds by walking around the GB coastline in 2008 - an event which will probably take around 10 months.
