We're walking for the Werewolves!
No, not some hairy wolf-like figures, but a friendly bunch of children and young people who either have a disability or special need and are playing the coolest sport in the world - Ice hockey!

So what are we doing?

Well on the 15th May, we will be walking the lovely hills and countryside that they call The South Downs. We are still recruiting team members, so if you want to join us, please contact us through the Werewolves website!

All of the funds raised from this walk will be ringfenced and used only to help fund the hosting of the Annual Special Hockey International Tournament in England in April 2012, to ensure that our Canadian and American guests receive a warm welcome and all the players enjoy a memorable experience in what is sure to be a historic year for sporting events in England.

Who are these Werewolves then?

The Werewolves of London disabled and special needs ice hockey team; was set up in 2002 by a parent (Mike Dwyer). Since 2002 the club has grown, and they now have around 70 players.

Thank you for helping us. If you'd like any more information on the Werewolves of London, please see the web page :

Thanks

Penny
