The Alzheimer's Society does some great work in an area that most of us would rather we didn't think about.  Having been involved first hand with the effects of dementia I'm really keen to raise a little bit of money for them.

So it's not a fire walk, or jumping off the Tyne Bride, or the side of the Baltic this time*, it's a 5 mile walk.  It is in Saltwell though, so it's not completely risk free.
