We believe that all pets should have access to veterinary care – regardless of their owners’ financial situation. Over 100 years, we’ve helped more than 20 million sick and injured pets – providing life-saving vet care to more vulnerable pets than any other animal charity in the UK today.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Donni has just returned (with Wendy and David) from walking coast to coast along Hadrians Wall. The 84 miles took us 12 days and we did it - because he could.

Last year he tripped down a rabbit hole and as a result nearly lost his leg. He has had the lower joint fused and a plate put in - now he can walk and run freely again (though with something of a limp). He and we were lucky  - he was insured.

Pets can be a lifeline to many who are not so fortunate as Donni. The PDSA (People's Dispensary for Sick Animals) treat all animals either through their own clinics or though local vets. All money raised will go to make sure they can continue with their work.

So far we have raised nearly £700 and we would like to make a target of £10 for every mile we walked.

Hope you can help.

Thank you
