Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and for supporting our charity event on Sunday 22nd April 2012 'Walking for Young Hearts'.  A 10 mile Sponsored walk along the Tardebigge Canal, Bromsgrove to raise money for the children's cardiac charity, Young at Heart.   My son, Max was born with a serious heart defect called 'Pulmonary Atresia with VSD'.  He received life saving surgery at Birmingham Children's Hospital when he was just 4 days old and has recently recovered from open heart surgery once again to replace his previous donor valve.  Young at Heart provides a network of support for heart children like Max either through social activities and emotional support through to donating much needed equipment to the Cardiac Department at the hospital.
