The VCMF is a fund I set up in memory of my dear mum who left a huge hole in all our lives on December 8th 2008 when she lost her short battle with cancer aged just 50. This page is to keep her memory alive whilst supporting others.

Hello!

And thank you for visiting the latest fundraising page of the Veronica Claxton memorial fund as we continue the quest of raising a Quarter of a million pounds for CLIC Sargent Children with Cancer. The fund is one I set up after losing my mum to Cancer in late 2008 and since then backed by fantastic friends and family we have raised over £150,000 for various Cancer charities. Our latest mission is just 16 months old but we have already surpassed £75,000.

For this latest event on Saturday May 14th a large group of us will be setting off from Richmond bridge in West London and walking a total of 22 miles across 18 bridges along the Thames finishing at Tower bridge before walking up to University College London hospital to deliver some days out and treats to a special CLIC Sargent home from home attached to the hospital called Paul's house where the children and their families stay while they are at the hospital receiving treatment.

Please get behind your family and friends who are taking part on this page by sparing whatever you can and leaving them a good luck message. Without your support none of the work we try and do is possible.

Thank you as always

Luke Claxton
