Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi everyone,

I am fundraising for Acorns Children's Hospice in memory of Ayla Hope Reading.

On February 1st 2012, beautiful Ayla was born.  Her parents knew she wouldn't be here for long as she was diagnosed as having Edwards syndrome, a rare genetic condition that affects about 1 in 4000 babies.

Ayla bravely fought for 70 hours but took her last breath on 4th February 2012 in her mummy's arms.

Acorns Hospice has been a place of sanctuary, support and love for Ayla, her mummy, daddy, brother and all of her extended family. She was a very special little girl and I was very privileged to meet her.

So please dig deep and donate now, so that Acorns can continue to help the families of children with life limiting conditions.
