For the fifth year, Bright Horizons staff through the UK and Ireland will be taking part in Walk On events, held throughout the summer months to raise money for the Foundation and awareness of its work. Bright Horizons Family Solutions created the Bright Horizons Foundation for Children in Europe in 2005 to help achieve our mission of making a difference to the lives of children and families where we live and work, beyond the normal reach of the Company’s child care centres With a particular focus to help children and families in repeat cycles of temporary and inadequate accommodation. Our mission is important and urgent, 1.6 million children in the UK live in housing that is overcrowded, temporary, or run down, more than 90,000 homeless children in England are living in temporary accommodation are affected by repeat homelessness; one in 10 children live in overcrowded households and have no access to safe play.
