4 strapping young blokes are going to walk The Ridgeway from Avebury to Ivinghoe Beacon - a total of 87 miles - in August (27-30) in aid of Cancer Research UK. The walkers are Ashley Griffiths, Robert Hill, John Tarling and David Upjohn.

We'll probably end up walking further if Upjohn is in charge of navigating - despite the path being clearly signposted.
