Story
This event is in memory of my dear brothers Mark, Dennis John, and Paul Canavan. Paul, my youngest brother died of skin cancer in April 1989, aged 16. Dennis John, died in December 2006, aged 35 after being diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour in August 2006. Mark, my eldest brother and only other sibling died in March 2007 aged 41 after a courageous three year battle with Motor Neurone Disease.
I will be walking, with other family members and friends, the West Highland Way starting on Saturday 4th August from Milngavie and finishing up the following Saturday 11th August in Fort William. Everyone is welcome on this walk at any time, even if only for a day. Please email me at rsalister@aol.com if you are interested in joining us.
This event is equally in aid of Cancer Research UK and The Scottish Motor Neurone Disease Association. The Scottish Motor Neurone Disease Association online sponsorship page is at www.justgiving/walktheway.
