St Clare Hospice is a charity providing specialist care for people living with a terminal or life limiting illness in West Essex and East Herts border. We care for patients & their families, providing physical, social, psychological & spiritual support

Story

After a few drinks over New Year, we decided that it would be a good idea to do a walk from London to Brighton, and an even better idea to raise some money for St Clare's at the same time.

And as Ernest Hemingway said, "always do sober what you said you'd do when drunk - that will teach you to keep your mouth shut".

So, at 7am on May 5th we'll be setting off from Trafalgar Square and assuming that our bodies, brains and navigational skills are up to the job, we'll be finishing our challenge by walking up Brighton Pier at some point on  Bank Holiday Monday.

Our itinerary is as follows:

Day 1 - London to Reigate - special thanks to The Bell in Reigate for putting us up for the night!

Day 2 - Reigate to Haywards Heath

Day 3 - Haywards Heath to Brighton

We're raising money for the St Clare West Essex Hospice Care Trust, so please dig deep and sponsor us so that we can smash our fundraising target!
