Story

Please use this page either to give to Ali individually OR to sponsor the Southover Youth as a whole.  Thanks.

The youth of Southover church are going for a walk!

We are standing (well, walking) in solidarity with people across the world who have to walk an average of 5 miles to get access to clean, safe water.  We are especially concerned about those who are being bullied and sometimes beaten at the well, because they are Christians.  They have to drink dirty water, which has increased the incidence of diseases like cholera, which can be fatal.

We're walking 9 miles to raise money for those who walk for hours every day.

Friday 30th October starting at 8am.

The money we raise will go to Open Doors; they are planning to dig wells for several villages in countries like Nigeria, to save lives through safe water.

Please join in.  Please give generously.

Please pray, perhaps each time you turn on a tap, for those who don't have this simple resource.
