Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Now You Have A Chance To REALLY Make A Difference!

Why?

Because with your help we can change the lives of children ...FOREVER!

Heard it all before?   Well here's my personal guarantee... all the money we raise will go straight towards helping improve the lives of children in Niassa, Northern Mozambique.

And it's so easy ..please read on....

The funds provided by the Church of St Mary’s Gamlingay and the Lothian family, have built The Amy Inez Lothian school in Chindola, Northern Mozambique....

You can see a picture of a similar building over on the left of this page.

It might not look much to you but let me tell you a few facts about the school....

It is the only brick building in the village and has a corrugated iron roof. The villagers are very proud of it. It accommodates 350 children with 1 teacher.

Now here's the good bit...the government will supply another teacher if we can build the teacher a house.

To complete the project, to supply desks, generator and blackboard will cost £4,000. The people of this region are gentle and generous, despite being among the poorest in the world. So here’s how you can help.....

I am going to walk the Camino de Santiago de Compostela (The way of St James) which covers 477 miles from Southern France to the west of Spain (passing through Rioja country, I don’t see why Pilgrims should suffer so I will enjoy this bit). It is a 1200 year old pilgrimage and I have wanted to do it for 20 years. The trip of around 480 miles should take me around 5 weeks  - I'm leaving to start my journey on 31st March 2010.

If you would like to sponsor me on my adventure I promise you that every penny donated will end up in Chindola. I personally know all of the people involved in every aspect of the project that's why I'm so passionate about it! Every pound you donate can honestly make a huge difference to a child in Chindola...that's less than the price of a Sunday paper, or cup of coffee, or half of beer....please help!

Your donation no matter how small can really make a difference– every single penny of it!

Please help these children by giving generously—thanks!
