Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a life-shortening genetic condition that slowly destroys the lungs and digestive system. The Cystic Fibrosis Trust is the only UK-wide charity fighting for a life unlimited, when everyone living with CF can look forward to a long, healthy life. www.cysticfibrosis.org.uk

Story

A good friend recently had to drag me from a kebab shop in a drunken mess.  He sat me down, told me I'm worthless and begged me to sort my life out!

"Start running Wallace" he said.
"Lose weight, get fit and stop drinking vodka redbull out of a pint glass"

So, I've decided that I will.  I'll do all of the above, but I'll do it for a cause that's better than my own self satisfaction.  I've decided that I'll be taking part in the Great Manchester Run on the 20th May 2007, and I'll be doing it all in aid of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

I started out with a target of £300 on here, but I've just totalled up how many people I know that I think could sponsor me - 96 mates, colleagues/mates and family members should easily equal £1000, so dig deep and sponsor me NOW!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Cystic Fibrosis Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Cheers

Wallace
