WaterAid is an international not-for-profit, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. Only by tackling these three essentials in ways that last can people change their lives for good.

Story

Thank you for visiting my Justgiving Page. I am raising money for WaterAid by trekking 100 kms in 5 days

Together with 99 other colleagues, I am heading off to Greenland in August 2018. With no access to facilities like fresh meals, hot showers and a warm bed, with everyone carrying their own camping gear and equipment, this trek is not for the faint hearted.

As the least densely populated territory in the world, this trek will take me through untamed land, in the arctic circle, some of which is untouched by humans.

WaterAid help the world’s poorest communities to transform their lives with clean water.1 in 10 people don’t have access to safe water and 1 in 3 don’t have access to a decent toilet. We want a world where everyone everywhere has these basic human rights by 2030. Together we can make that happen.
